Bill Davis Racing inks Scott to drive for 2009 season

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Bill Davis Racing announced on Tuesday that it has signed Brian Scott to drive a BDR Toyota in the Truck Series for 2009 season.

Scott, 20, has competed in 23 Truck Series races in the past two seasons.

BDR has been among the most successful organization in the garage since joining the series in 2004. The organization has 22 victories, 91 top-five finishes and 144 top-10s.

• Xpress Motorsports also has joined into an operating agreement with BDR for the remaining seven races of the 2008 season. The No. 16 Xpress Motorsports team will convert its fleet into Toyota Tundras with technical and engineering support from BDR. The Xpress Motorsports team will continue to work out of its Mooresville, N.C., shop.
